The only way to quickly end a deadly situation with a high/excited/deranged/motivated attacker is by turning off the electricity (brain/brain stem), break the supporting structure (leg bones, pelvis, arm bones), or leak him out (heart, arteries). Any other hit, even multiple hits, on soft tissue can take a long time to have any real effect, regardless of caliber. Don't think a .45 will perform some magic for you that other rounds won't if your shots don't hit something critical.

This one will shoot .45ACP, and a .410 BB shot shell making placment less important.
