Fazer, I've changed my mind. If Mike doesn't want the other one, I'll take both if they are identical. It'll be a whole lot easier to make a 4-2 system and retain my ground clearance.

They actually change just a little bit after 2005, so I don't need the other one, they make for a pretty good exhaust mod on the 3rd gen R6 but not as good if it isn't actually a 2nd gen exhaust.

Well, I'm putting them on a 1985 XJ700 that has rusted out exhaust, so it'll be a definite improvement.

Yea I'm sure it will haha. For the sake of the 3rd gen R6 though they put a HUGE cat in the midpipe and it robs a ton of power and swapping in the 2nd gen header frees up a lot of it but it works best if is the original 2nd gen and not the R6s from the later years.

Bringing this back from the dead....
I walked out to my garage the other day and found my left side muffler laying on the floor. The rust finally got the best of the pipe. I waited too long and fazer already got rid of the stock mufflers he had. So, my question is... Anyone have a stock slip on muffler laying around that they want to "donate" to a good cause. It doesn't really matter what it's off of, as long as it is sized appropriately to handle a 700cc 4cyl. It will be cut up and welded so the mid-pipe configuration doesn't matter. Let me know if you've got something.

Appreciate it, but I'm afraid the HD muffler would be too long. The stock mufflers (and current mufflers) were only about 13" long. A sportbike muffler can be shortened if needed, but I've never tried to shorten an HD muffler.
On a side note, I got the entire exhaust system pulled off last night. It looks like I'll be able to get a piece bent and just replace the broken section - at least until I have more time to reconfigure the entire system.

Harley muffler is 20" long, so it wouldn't work. Good luck with this.
