It's hard to be open and available to everybody. I worked there for almost six years, and no matter what the hours were, someone would always make a comment. You guys open too late or close too early, etc. They used to be open six days a week, but it was so hit and miss. Some Saturdays were super busy, and others dead. It's hard to pay a full staff to just stand around when you're not making any money. They are open Mondays though, unlike any other MC shop within a large radius, which are ALWAYS busy. I believe just a few weeks ago, they had someone come down from the St. Louis area on a Monday, just to have a tire mounted because he was leaving for a trip and Tergins was the only shop he could find open.

It truly is a family owned/operated business with a very small staff. Everyone there works everyday the shop is open, and I don't know too many people that are happy about working six days a week...anywhere. Just sayin'...

Not sure what your schedule is like, but if you were just going to be a few minutes after 6pm, I'm sure ryoung would stick around to help you out. Give them a call. Customer service is their thing.

They close on Mondays because they are open on Saturdays. I guess most motorcycle dealerships don't have the staff to rotate to get everyone two days off and keep the shop open six.

Everyone wants a two day "weekend". If you have to work Saturday then you want Sun-Mon off. I haven't had a 9-5 job in so long I forget how it goes.

I dunno exactly. I think this set may have gone on 7k or so ago. Maybe 8-9?

Partial thread hijack: Use this spray. Motorcycle Consumer News did a test several years back and this came out on top. Google it and you will find lots of threads on all kinds of motorcycle forums giving it the thumbs up. I know Lowes sells it. Maybe Tergins does also.

on one of my triumphs I replaced chain and sprockets at 28k during a tire swap. I think I could have got another 5k out of them, but we were heading out on a long ride and I didn't want to chance it. they'd have comfortably gone over 30 without question. never had a drop of that sticky, nasty, *lube* on them

just kept clean with WD

prior to that, I was getting between 6/8k having used everything from PJ's to Honda's chain wax.
