If you count the post of the WSBK version in race trim,... then in a slight way. This is the production street version, where other styling cues are seen such as the headlights and turn signals (inlaid into mirrors instead of horrible on the mirror stalk garbage).

Just like the CBR, it looks much better as a racebike. I wonder why they went back to 3 spoke wheels, the multi-spoke ones looked better (I hate that Honda and Suzuki still do 3 spokers). I really wonder what, if anything, is special about this engine. I know it's supposed to make all kinds of horsepower and have some cool traction contral and ride-by-wire but there are rumors that it's some sort of non-traditional engine firing order: either a big bang, long bang, or screamer engine. Finally, I wonder if they're going to do anything besides WSBK with it.
