Default Ducati Multistrada 1200

The power and utility of this bike are great, but the damn styling is growing on me rapidly. If the tail end was just a bit different somehow. I think I'm going insane or something.

Have they gotten any lower? I though about buying a 2005 model, and even at 6'1" I almost needed a step stool to get on the thing.

The styling is much better, now. They were butt-ugly before. People rave about them for their utilitarian prowess and every-day-ride aplomb.

All the reviews say they still have that problem.

I just can't get over the bird beak front .

Yes and no. We talked about the multistrada a bit, and it can do some light off road duty. The Hypermotard was the glorified dirtbike with street rims and tires on it.

Hmmm, I hadn't seen the new 'Strada yet, but I'm really glad they got rid of the old body/frame style. They've had one of the old 1000DS Multistradas out at Jones for sale now for a couple of years, it's no wonder they can't get rid of the hideous thing.....

With that motor and the right suspension setup, I'd take one of those to the track in a heartbeat, not to mention a longhaul trip. I'm assuming they put the 1100 motor in her?
