Default 2010 Yahama R1 LE Rossi edition

I predict Yamaha will sell a bunch of these:

From Yamaha's site:

I also predict Devo and WyattMUlaw will be having buyer's remorse right about now. Hell, I would love to have one!!!

Just like almost every race replica liter bike released, I'd rather have the stock one. Maybe if they added some performance goodies. Maybe.

I like when they do that. I just wish Ducati would do it for under 45 grand.

Ducati decided to make the Bayliss edition from the top-shelf 1098R. While I am not wealthy enough to afford such indulgences, I applaud Ducati for making the Bayliss edition from a bike worthy of such honor!

Don't forget, they also made a limited edition for the masses (comparitively) with the Hayden 848.

I believe Yamaha had a Fiat replica R6 but sold it in Europe only. I wonder if they'll do a Ben Spies version.

actually just looked it up

Yamaha YZF-R1 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

had ohlins, forged marchesini wheels, and a slipper clutch.

it was a 2006 model.
