I saw this when they released it.

Fortunately this site is not vulnerable becuase we do not use the VB CMS or Blog.

I have put off upgrading becuase it will end up being a ton of work, and with 12 and 10 hour workdays every day I dont have the time to do it right now. The upgrade itself will be easy, it will be fixing the mess it cuases with my addons and custom stuff that will be the hard part.

I do keep an eye on stuff like this, and it will get done eventually.

No irony, this has nothing to do with the current spam wave that has affected every forum in the world :P

Actually, this is the only forum I frequent where I have noticed it. I have no idea what platforms those forums are running because I don't speak geek. The other forums I am talking about are much bigger than this...don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I'd offer to help, but I'm not sure how much help my 1 year of html/java (remember some of it, but pretty rusty) and semester of C++ (still have the book and the software we were given lol).

just a quick thought.. anyway you could gradually update and correct? as in copy the code for the website to say an external hard drivee or something, apply the upgrade, then fix the code for each page as you get time? then once the code is fixed, take the site down for bit and replace the existing code with the new code, make any final tweaks, and *tada* all done!

err hypothetically lol
