Yes it will. When i used to live in my old duplex I actually did the same thing. The only way I could get both my car and bike into the garage was to put the bike on the stand and slide it right up against the wall in front of the car.

I resisted for a while but after I bit the bullet and got one, it makes everything so much easier.
