I guess Monday I will be paying a visit to the Captain, to get parts to put my Buell back in riding condition. I was headed to Rolla this morning to watch my daughter compete in a cross country meet. I needed some cash and was going into the Jefferson bank lot on Eastland drive in JC. Upon entering the parking lot I grabbed my front brake which caused the front wheel to wash-out and down I went. I was not prepared for a loose gravel parking lot for such a large financial institution. Here are some pictures of the damage to the Buell.
Luckily the bark-busters saved the brake lever and mirror along with the frame puck protecting the frame/fuel tank. Plus I have been wanting some different foot-pegs, now will be a good time to get some.

My hip is sore from doing the splits as the Buell went out from underneath me.
Some cheap whiskey and pepsi is numbing the pain.

Took me 2 years and almost 10,000 miles before I had to look for replacement parts.

Sorry to hear about the spill, that definitely sucks. But at least the damage is minor, hope the repair process isnt too painful.

The plastic parts have been sanded with 220 grit sandpaper while I watched the Chief's stink up the Indy stadium. All I need now are handlebars and foot-pegs to get it up and going. I was running with 7/8" motocross style bars and they shouldn't be hard to replace. My real concern is the upgrade of the foot-pegs.
I am personally going by the bank Monday morning to make sure that others don't have something similar happen to them. What if it was a bagger with a passenger? I can see at least one broken leg and grand of damaged chrome if that was what I was riding. I wonder how far their cameras project out into the parking lot?
