And there is a problem with that?

I went out this afternoon and made a loop around Callaway county, before bow-hunting this afternoon.

Yes, and his new toy is cool as hell, if maybe a bit too high-tech for my IQ level. Plus, I took a ride around Cole County on Friday and by the time I was done my butt was sore as hell. I would love to have a bike I can go on extended cruises with, 2-up if I could ever convince the wife she might actually enjoy it. With a Multi I could pick a destination with no concern for distance and still have plenty of sporty stomp. I still think the prior generation Multi's are ugly, but they are cheaper and you can't see how ugly it is when you are riding it. Realistically, though, I don't have enough ride time to justify the expense right now.

Actually, he has a Hayabusa, '03 Ducati 999, Kawasaki ZX9, and now the Multistrada. He sold off a Kawi Meanstreak and another Hayabusa to acquire the Multi. He was really ogling an 1198 Corse Edition when he test rode and subsequently fell in love with the Multistrada. I can't tell you how many people have told me, DO NOT test ride a Multistrada unless you are able to buy one. Doing so without the means to purchase is apparently a sure recipe for moto-frustration and heartbreak.
