Yep, real wheeliers cover the rear brake and use it to control the wheelie :P

Some even get real fancy and mount a separate hand controlled master cylinder for the rear brake on the right handlebar. That way they can sit over the bars/windscreen and still have rear brake control.

But if you decide to go this route - don't think you need to purchase or try to fabricate a "dual caliper" bracket at the rear wheel. Just add a double banjo bolt to the stock rear caliper and accommodate a second brake line.

Oh yeah, some fast "track" guys (roadracer types) run a similar setup for trail braking (especially on tight right hand corners). They typically use a thumb activated setup though. I bet ryoung would be happy to order you a thumb brake kit.
