There nearly as many scenarios as there are people. There simply is no one single policy that will address every traffic stop. It is up to the officer to size up the situation and make what he believes to be the best course of action.

Can you imagine what it would be like to do every traffic stop "southern cali gangland style"? Two officers, guns drawn, keys tossed out the window and hands on the roof.

Mine is never more than an arms reach away. I carry a revolver. So yes it's always ready to go to work if needed.

I cant carry one for another year but when i do i plan to keep one in the chamber unless i was riding, i dont really feel like the possibility getting shot by a 44 mag in addition to being in a wreck.
