Default MMR's Deer Tracker - How did you do deer hunting?

Saturday I saw nothing but I had a sparrow land on my elbow Saturday night and I about soiled my drawers.

Sunday afternoon I had a jacked-up 3 pointer at less than 10 yards, that I could have shot with my "new" 40 s&w. As the wind died down around 4 pm I had decent 8-pointer trying to slip through the patch of woods I was in. The only way I could see him was the 4 inch patch of bare skin on him. He got within about 80 yards and I couldn't get a shot as he changed directions away from me. On my way out there are 2 does' behind my barn. I was getting ready to call my hunting buddy and tell him about all the crazy stuff I had seen and I hear the 'ting of barbed wire. There is one more deer in my barn lot. I whistle to slow it down as I am standing 10 foot behind my shooting bench. It now walks behind my 50 yard target. As I squeeze the trigger I get a text message from my youngest daughter, she asked, "if I had any luck." I replied, "what do you think?" She texts back, "I ain't doing anything I guess I will help you clean it." 1 bonus tag filled

Here is another picture of the buck I saw.

Did not get a pic before dropping him off for Share the Harvest. I took him by Midway (that is where the processor was, I was not looking to get filmed) the Travel chanel was filming for Truckstop Missouri. It is unlikely, but possible you may see me, my trailer, or my deer. They filmed my deer from the moment I stopped in the lot even filming me cutting the head off (no one had a saw). (I can't think that would be allowed to be aired).

The show is so set up it is ridiculous, there were a couple of people there who tied some elk antlers onto a goat and "demanded" the biggest rack prize. I will be anxiously waiting to watch that episode though.

Nice job Everyone. So will this deer tracker turn into a deer jerky contest later on?

Might can mine, but it might end up in jerky.
