We were told "there is no way he will go till November and most likely he will get pushed back". Yeah well Im sitting here waiting for him to call me from the Charlotte airport where Im told he will be allowed to call when they change planes.
He stayed at the hotel last night, went to MEPS again today and now enroute to PI.

Yes Im back and bragging. Seems my son is doing very well at PI. I joined a parents support website which has been so helpful. Another parent there clued me into this Facebook Page for PI. I was perusing the pics and hit on this one. The recruit on the ground IS MY SON. I about fell out of my chair when I saw it. If anyone has someone at PI check out the page. You may see your recruit too!

be proud, it is an honor to live in a county that has all the rights and freedoms we have so i sent a big heart felt thanks to all persons that are willing to fight to keep those freedoms we all take for granted, so tell your son thanks for his sacrafices
