With it being July 4th weekend and all, and with the state highway patrol requesting all law enforcement agencys for the next 70 days to strictly enforce the speed limit and so forth, it might be a good idea to slow it down a bit to be on the safe side...... I went past 4 HP on 54 coming from the lake to jeff city, all within about 25 miles.

I went 30 years with no tickets and got two in six months for speeding.One at 40 mph in a school zone that i did not even releize i was in and another at 3 am doing 50 in a 30 on a straight flat road.They sent me a notice that because of those two tickets my lincence was in danger.It slowed me down{a lot}.They are out in full force this weekend.P.S i just pay the tickets but that dont keep me from being mad about it even if it is at myself.

I have no problem owning up to it if I was doing something wrong, but, I'm still gonna fight it to keep it off of my record and keep lower insurance.

It is worth the time to talk to the City Prosecutor about your tickets if you have a fairly clean record.He has been known to give a guy a break on non-threating violations.

How much was your ticket opposed to the one you wanted?? In trying to become a Policeman, I've found that most are extraordinarily lenient, when it comes to what they could fine you for.
