anyone there? ive managed to get into a pissing contest with some guy on the site. look at the thread and tell me if im wrong or out of line.

Word to the wise, MidmoSR is a little harsher than MMR. Nothing like the community sense we have here, not everyone on midmosr is hard to get along with, but there are enough that it can easily turn into epeen contest.

I think it stems from the fact that the folks on MMSR are into literally racing each other. head to head, to see whos better, this breeds a different attitude twoard fellows then what we have here. What we have here is more focused on riding TOGETHER rather than against, on enjoying the company and the sport, and honing each others skill to make for better riders to ride WITH rather than against~

well I looked at it, no really right or wrong too it.

kodycobra is a member here as well, has built a ton of badass cars and bikes, and is generally a pretty good guy.

You make some valid points, but the guys on midmosr want to drag race and think in those terms.

Some of your valid points;

1. 600cc bikes are NOT a joke. They post lap times very similar to 1000cc bikes. Depending on the track, 1000cc bikes are built into 600 or near 600 frames nowadays, and are great bikes in thier own right, but that doesnt make 600cc bikes suck.

2. Just becuase someone has a bike doesnt make them fast through corners (hell look at our prominent member DUNNO)

Some things that arent quite right;

As I said, most people here are familiar with Kody, and all I have seen out of him is good guy type stuff, no douchebaggery involved. As far as his riding ability, I have seen him ride, but never in the twisties, he may or may not be a good rider or as good as rider as you, but generally, he is a pretty stand up guy whos not too much for all talk no walk type junk. The stuff he builds is fast, and hes a pretty down to earth guy.

Seems like you got uppity first, no hard feelings but, I think you are the one that turned it up a notch. Take it easy, even for what I said about midmosr, it didnt seem like anybody was gettin real mouthy or anything.

Mike (the honda guy) loves to race bikes, from what I know, his b series civic will kill 600's in drag

Dude, ha ha! I can't believe that you brought it over to this drama-free site. It's one of the few that actually stay that way!

I guess I'll be the bigger man and say that I'm sorry for interpriting your post in the wrong manner. The way I took it was that you were calling me out on a bike that I don't even have anymore. I failed to see the post where you acknowledged that I no longer have it.

It was wrong for me to call your 600rr slow, so I'm sorry for that. Just remember...This is the internet, and everyone doesn't interprit things exactly the same.



As for this site...Sorry I haven't been active on here for a while. I still lurk, but don't have a bike anymore. Rest assured though, I'll have another, or two, or three I do feel that my next bike will be a 1000 of some sorts though...That ZX14 was a little pig heavy and dangerous to be "throwing" around the corners lol Plus, high-speed wheelies were a chore on such a damn long wheel base.

My intrest has just been shifted more towards cars at the moment, and I'm currently saving up for a twin-turbo kit/major engine build, then am going to buy a clownshoe viper gts just like this...





And to F3racer...I'd still go riding with you once I get another bike. I just hope you can keep up
