Default brake light question,,

didnt know where to post this so i figured i would do it here. please move if need be.

i just got the bike and it seems the leds are out on the brakes. only a few work like 3 or 4 out of like 20 or so.

my question is can i just replace the leds in the the undertail or would i have to buy a whole new undertail.

might be a dumb question but im new to this and just trying to figure this out

Troy and I actually opened mine up once and resoldered some connections to make it work, if you can solder broken connections (if there are any) or new leds to the old connections, and it works, I dont see whhy you have to have a new light.

Yea you can just replace the LEDs but you have to get apart your old taillight and do some soldering and maying some desoldering but it can be done.

Thats a lot of work to fix that many LEDs, it were just a couple then I would fix it but I am not in for that much soldering. I myself would be a new taillight

no its $40 for just the two lights..you use your same undertail and just replace the lights..the lights would ahve been free under warrenty if you had a receipt for the undertail but you dont so they are $40 for replacements.
