I don't know for sure, but I assume it's some kind of licensure issue with the duc factory. Termis are the "racing" exhaust that comes on the s and r model bikes.
Outside of Ducati, termongini is just another exhaust company. They make cans for just about everything, but can be pretty expensive.
The other ducatis in wsb are non-factory bikes so they can run whatever exhaust they want. Akropovic are some of the best so you see a lot of them.
MotoGP Ducati runs an open exhaust, so no termi for them.
Hey, can you explain something to me? Why do only the factory Ducati's run the Termi exhaust and the other Duc teams run Akra's? Is there something in the WSBK rules that govern this? I've noticed in GP that Rossi runs a Termi on his Yamaha.
