thanks work in progress, now to find out how to mount exhaust without the ugly passenger pegs lol

That would require some custom brackets. Don't know if any company makes them for your bike.

Welcome. Nice bike, but I bet it's loud as $*it with no muffler. I ran my 636 like that for a couple weeks and it was stupid loud.

Here's one I found after a quick search, but one could be made out of some 1/8"-3/16" aluminum plate(or steel), a hacksaw, a bench vice, and an assortment of drill bits. You could also weld some drilled round stock (bolt holes) to some 1/4" round rod (think triangle ). Not sure if you're a DIY type, or not...

its extremely loud, i have a vance and hines ssr2 muffler, i want to mount it way down partially covered by the fairings, i love the look of having nothing between the tire and rear fairings (kinda like this, i know these are r1's but sure i can get close to the same look)
