Default Hello. New rider in Eldon, MO area.

Hello. I'm a new rider in the Eldon, MO area. My ride is an '07 Kawasake Ninja EX250. Just joined the group at husband R6Rob's encouragement. I'm looking forward to a full riding season this year. Hope to meet some of you.

Welcome to the forum! Was happy to see a new female join the private female group and was hoping you would post soon. The 250 is a fun bike to ride on, How long have you been riding? I love to see couples that ride together as a pair. Makes for good times

Thanks for the welcome. Last year was my first year of riding. My husband bought me my bike for an early Christmas present in Dec of '08. We like to do stuff together and I'm in hopes of some awesome long distance rides in the future. I would like to see the states and just maybe beyond.

I take it "tail of the dragon" is a particular set of roads? I've been spending my indoor time (which is all the time in this weather) looking at mags and internet, researching rides and new bikes. North Carolina is a heck of a hall! I've driven to Gatlinburg, TN by car for four years now. That's an all day, my butt really hurts, vehicle drive. We're trying to work up a really short trip for this summer to try out the camping and gear hauling on bikes. There's a spring/campground just before or right after the Missouri/Arkansas state line. Lot of windy back roads driving. If we make it without major mishap, we'll try a longer one.

My parents do the Dragon about every other year..... They love it. Jaime and I have talked about rolling down there(in the truck with the bike in the back, the cbr is a little harsh for a long distance 2up ride) and doing day rides.

Hello wifey!! I guess I should officially welcome you to midmo too. You havent told everyone how much of a "MONSTER" i've created getting you into motorcycling? She has not one, but two motorcycles. Ninja 250, Suzuki gs850. And Saturday, she was trying on a new Ducati 696. I cant keep up with her. Cant wait to ride with you again babe.
