I am a big fan of Missouri, I live in Chicago, but I ride else where considering there is no where good to ride here. I am new to the forum as well and I am gathering routes that riders have ridden from all over the world, so when I have more money I can see the world. If you have a good route please post it on my online map at allstate insurance route or allstate insurance moto. I am an affiliate of allstate and thus I am using their web pages for this project. Thanks

Does the Highland House near the Great Lakes Naval Training Center still host the Sunday morning motorcycle gatherings? Those were a lot of fun, and brought in hundreds of motorcycles...sometimes a thousand or better. Many used it as a starting point for Sunday rides.
You aren't far from Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Do some track days there! I wish I would have when I lived in the Chicago area. I also rode to Road America for the AMA races one year. Again, sorely wish I would have signed up for a track day there. Wishing for greener pastures is human nature, but first, make sure you take full advantage of what your area offers!
