not hard - do you have any tools? do you have a way to support the rear of the bike while the wheel is off?

On mine once its on the stand i just take off the nut slide the axle out and the brake caliper and take the chain off the sprocket and done. Ull need a tq wrench to torque the nut back properly

I've seen folks rig all kinds of crap and I've done my share of riggin - I've also seen a few bikes on their side sporting new scuffs from falling over

GSXR isn't hard.
1. remove cotter pin from axle nut 2. loosen axle nut (I think it's a 32mm or 36mm) 3. Lift rear of bike (you can use a stand, straps suspended from rafters or a ladder, jackstands under the rearsets, just make sure it's SECURE) 4. loosen chain adjuster lock nuts 5. adjust chain adjuster bolts in to loosen chain 6. support rear wheel with something (block of wood, foot, etc. I use a skateboard) 7. remove axle nut 8. remove axle almost all of the way out using last 1/2in or so to hold rear caliper in place. 9. lower wheel slightly 10. use "wiggle room" from lowering wheel to get caliper off of disk, hang caliper outside of swingarm 11. unhook chain from sprocket, again using your newfound "wiggle room" 12. pull loose wheel from swingarm 13. grab wheel spacers that just fell from wheel and put them in a plastic bag, take them with you to shop in case they're needed for proper wheel balancing. Re-assemble in reverse order. If you can, get a second set of hands to help you put it back in. Taking it apart is easy by yourself, but getting the chain, caliper, spacers, and axle to all line up properly while trying to hold up a 30lb tire/wheel with one hand is a huge pain in the ass. If you really want an easy rear wheel change, get a bike with a single sided swingarm. My VFR was awesome. I just put it on the center stand and remove the lug nuts. It took two minutes.
