No, the Sport Classics did not have very easy riding positions. I always thought that was kind of odd. The "new old" thing would likely appeal more to the older crowd, so why give it the ergos of a young man's bike? The 1000S was a very sporty retro bike, almost a factory cafe racer (crappy suspension, though), so I forgive the ergos on that, but with the GT and Sport 1000 I just didn't get it.
