I couldn't stand it any longer so I took off early this morning and got in a 180+ mile loop with nearly half those miles being on gravel/unpaved.

get some while you can... winter is a coming!

I really enjoy gravel roading on the scooters , alot less traffic and lots of nice scenery

they were in perfect shape today. well traveled after being wet left them with nearly pavement smooth tracks.

I went from boonville to tipton almost completly on gravel, then parralled 50 past california, then back up. stayed near the moniteau creek for some great winding roads. should have taken the camera...

did u pop out in bunceton , thats the way me and the wife went from tipton to boonville and they are awesome gravel roads

I'm not sure - I'm not real familiar with the little towns in that area and I wasn't following a predetermined route

it all started when I ran into some maintenance on route V (I think) just after heading south on 179. they had the road shut down and the flagman stopped me right at a gravel road headed south. he said I had to wait or turn around so I hooked a left and kept going. zig zagged my way around until I was at tipton then did the same coming home.

The latter part of next week doesn't look too bad either. Better get those miles in early! I think I put more miles on my scooter than anything last year.

Zuma: about 1200 miles
Bicycle: about 500 miles
GSX-R: about 500 miles
