Default Sport Touring tires

Hey guys. It's about that time for new tires for me.

I've been thinking with all the riding I do with school and what not and the highway riding to work, I need something with a hard/thick middle section, but a softer compound on the sides for the fun riding.

I have picked out two tires, both by Michelin.
  1. Pilot Road 2 or
  2. Pilot Road 3
Has anyone heard any kind of reviews on these at all? I know the Pilot Road 3 is brand new, but have any of you ever used the Pilot Road 2?

Any input/opinions would be appreciated!

I have the Pilot Roads, not available now and did not have the softer compound on the outside, but the wear is incredible. Well over 5000 miles on the tire and hardly any tread diff.
Great tire! Mine are a little stiff in the corners since they don't have the softer compound but I don't lay it too much like most. My next will be the 2ct just because of how well these Pilots are holding up.

The fine folks at Tergins' hooked me up with a new set off tires today. They were very thorough with their explanation of the pricing of my tires. I dropped the wheels off this morning and they had them done by lunch time. They also gave me some free suggestions on how I could fix a braking issue I was having.

Thanks again for doing a great job and for the fantastic service.

Round, black, and rubber ones.

Storm 2's. It looks like I won't get a chance to try them out until Sunday at the earliest.

I was actually going to get those last time I had to get tires, but I came across a pair of pilot powers for $160, I couldn't pass them up. Let me know how you like them I am interested in your feedback.

George and Co just put a Storm on the front and it seems to get good and tacky. My new front end should be done soon so I'll be putting it through some good tests soon enough.
