Default Gauntlet gloves questions

I need some feedback about some gauntlet gloves. What brands do you all like? Which ones hold up the best? Which if any run longer in the fingers? Just want some opinions and real world feedback before I spend the $100 to $200 on a set of good gloves. Thanks

I reallly like my tecknic chicanes have had them for one season soo far pretected me when i wrecked at the track and are wearing pretty well. Also for me they are long in the fingers and you cant beat the price.

I do like the Teknic stuff. All the reviews I have read said the fingers are longer than normal. Which I need badly.

For gauntlet gloves I have a set of A* SP.1's. I've had them for over 3 yrs now and plenty of crashes in them. about 4 on the track(supermoto) so not really fast crashes and numerous ones in the dirt on fire roads and such and still no tears or rips in them. I can't speak about the long finger part though since I wear a size small. But the sizes are pretty accurate in this brand. Some do say for the A*'s the wrist part can be a little tight though.

I like the teknics as well. I normally wear a 12 or xxl

happen to have a bag FULL of xxl teknic gauntlet gloves. I believe they are violators

I just happened to see them this morning when searching for replacement headlamp bulbs I have stored.... somewhere.

I can dig them out if you are interested. they are left over inventory that fit me so I never put the effort into reselling them and they got shoved in a box and put out-of-sight

I'd make you a good deal.

sure - I'll get them dug out tomorrow, take a pic and we can go from there.

they are 05 models (I think).

if you are thinking of an all weather glove however, I'd give a positive nod to the firstgear masters. thats my daily pair for the past 50k. the wrist strap is easy to work, they have an additional chinch at the top of the gauntlet, plus a nice, functional squeegee on your left thumb to wipe your visor

textile/leather combo
