Question New Jardine Exhaust

Ok, just purchased a new carbon fiber Jardine RT-1 on ebay (sorry Ron, they had a price i couldnt refuse) for my cbr. First off; has anyone had any issues with installing Jardine exhaust systems on their bike, and if so what should I be aware of. Second, since this is my first fuel injected bike; what kind of tuning is going to be needed after the install so I dont mess up the thing? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Install should be pretty straight-forward, just a couple of clamps and a bracket or two. You may or may not want to keep the side heatshield, depending on asthetics. There also should be some sort of reflective sticker type material to put under the tail as a heatshield. Some people put high-temp copper type sealer on the joint but I don't think you have to.

Tuning would be beneficial but not necessary. It's just a slip-on. If you want, a power commander can be added. They have downloadable maps for most slip-ons.

I would look into having the injection system reprogrammed if you want to get the most out of your CBR.
